The summer is around and our body is now producing more sweat.
Bad body odor during summers is a common problem. Many of us would have experienced bad body odor while in public places or while commuting. Wearing socks and fully covered foot wears can also cause bad smelly odor.
People use perfumes and deodorants to ward off bad body odor. But the problem with deodorants is that they contain some chemicals that cause allergic reactions to some people.
There is a natural alternative for getting rid of bad body odor. Here’s what you need to do.
Get 200gm alum (Wiki) and crush it into powder. Alum can be bought from any medical store or super market. It is also known as Fitkari in Hindi.
Take 100gm of Ramacham (also called Vetiver, Khus etc. in various languages) and boil in 1 litre of water.
Allow the water to cool and filter it. Mix the powdered alum in the ramacham water and stir until all of alum dissolves in it. This liquid can be preserved for upto an year.
Daily apply the liquid in the arm pits, and other sweaty joints. Bad smell will disappear on the first day of applying this liquid.
If your socks smell bad, dip them in this liquid after washing and allow it to dry.
Warning: Do not prepare or store this liquid in aluminium vessels.
